The property.

Our property consists of 16 acres, 1,000 ft. of waterfront on the Neuse River that includes a beautiful pond & intimate peninsula surrounded by gorgeous marsh. Our mature trees are adorned with Spanish moss and have an incredible energy that can only be described as “healing”. There is a bathroom for guests to use on the property as well as ample parking.

The Details:
-Private, small events of 75 people or less including weddings, micro-weddings, elopements, proposals and other small events.
-We do not include any rentals, but have preferred local vendors that we recommend & trust, their info can be found here.
-We are located on the Bridgeton side of the “big bridge”, a short 10 minute drive to downtown New Bern.
-Our property includes riverfront, a pond and a peninsula.
-We highly recommend visiting the property on a scheduled tour before securing your date. Request to schedule a tour here.
-All deposits & payments are nonrefundable including cancellations due to weather.

Laura and Trey McGovern began calling this beautiful property home in 2018. It has been a true labor of love but a blessing all in one. Trey is a New Bern native and Laura transplanted from Charlotte in 2011 and never looked back. They met shortly after Laura moved to town when she gave him a haircut while working at C.Foy Tonsorial Parlor. They enjoy traveling and exploring new places, mostly communicate with each other in movie quotes, spending time on the water and have huge hearts for animals (they have a dog, Walter, and 3 cats, Zeus, Buzz and Kevin).
Trey works in real estate both residential & commercial with Donna & Team New Bern, a Keller Williams team and they own AVEDA salon in downtown New Bern called Magnolia Jane Salon. Both entrepreneurs at heart and have a lot of love for their local community of New Bern.
